Newton’s Laws of Motion

  1. A body remains at rest or if moving continues to move in a straight line with uniform velocity unless compelled by some external force to act otherwise.
  2. The rate of change of momentum of a body is proportional to the applied force and takes place in the direction in which the force acts.
  3. To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction or If a body A acts on a body B and a body B acts on a body A then body B exerts an equal and opposite force on body A.
